An experienced education and general liability attorney, founder Shana R. Ginsburg, Esq. has litigated over sixty cases in Maryland state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level.
Through her work representing both school systems and students, Shana has helped to ensure that students and education professionals have practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to the legal challenges they face.
Ms. Ginsburg is a graduate of Duke University (B.A. English; Public Policy). She began her career as an American Literature teacher in Augusta, Georgia before attending University of Maryland Carey School of Law to study juvenile and trial advocacy. After two judicial clerkships in the Prince George’s County Circuit Court, Ms. Ginsburg became a certified Best Interest Attorney for children before serving as senior counsel (2012-2014) and Associate General Counsel (2014-2015) for Prince George’s County Public Schools.
Ms. Ginsburg has lectured at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies on legal education and has provided school-wide trainings on legal and administrative regulations for reporting child abuse, neglect, discrimination, and harassment. She is the Founder and President of Ginsburg Advanced Tutoring, LLC, a tutoring, admissions and accommodations company designed to support the needs of learners with disabilities.

Ms. Ginsburg is admitted to the bar of Maryland, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
