Shana R. Ginsburg, Esq. is the Managing Partner of Ginsburg Legal Services, a firm she founded in 2017 with a singular mission—to provide cost-effective and results-driven legal consulting throughout Maryland.
​
An experienced education and general liability attorney, Ms. Ginsburg has litigated more than sixty cases across Maryland state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels. Her legal expertise extends beyond litigation into strategic advocacy, ensuring clients receive comprehensive guidance tailored to their unique challenges.
​
Ms. Ginsburg earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University (B.A. English; Public Policy) before beginning her career as an American Literature teacher in Augusta, Georgia. She later pursued her legal education at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, focusing on juvenile and trial advocacy. After completing two judicial clerkships in the Prince George’s County Circuit Court, she became a certified Best Interest Attorney for children, championing their rights in legal proceedings.

Her career includes serving as Senior Counsel (2012-2014) and Associate General Counsel (2014-2015) for Prince George’s County Public Schools, where she advised on matters of education law, litigation strategy, and regulatory compliance.
​
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Ginsburg is deeply committed to education reform and advocacy. She lectures at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, equipping professionals with critical insights into legal education. She also leads school-wide trainings on legal and administrative regulations for reporting child abuse, neglect, discrimination, and harassment.

In addition to her legal work, Ms. Ginsburg is the Founder and President of Ginsburg Advanced Tutoring, LLC, an organization dedicated to supporting students through high-stakes educational accommodations. Ginsburg Advanced Tutoring works in close partnership with Ginsburg Legal Services, ensuring that students and professionals alike receive the advocacy, legal guidance, and academic support they need to thrive.
